NQT Training | |||
|
ELTAM is organising the third cycle of the Training Course for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) of English in the regions of Skopje, Stip, Ohrid and Bitola. The aim of the course is to support NQTs to develop professionally and personally. Interested applicants are required to have: • a maximum of 5 years teaching experience • formal qualification in English Language Teaching (essential) • membership of professional organisations in-country (ELTAM- essential) • interest, motivation and commitment (highly desirable) Course fee: 3500,00 denars January 2009-April 2009 All interested applicants should send their CV and the application form to marjantr@yahoo.com not later than January 10, 2009. NEWLY QUALIFIED TEACHERS’ TRAINING From January 2009 onward, ELTAM is organising the third Training Course for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) with up to five years of teaching experience in Skopje, Stip, Bitola and Ohrid. The purpose of this training is to bring together young English teaching professionals who will address the challenges of teaching. The course will focus on the following areas: • Managing your classroom and your students • Planning your lessons and your course • Presentation techniques and introductory activities • Practising language skills • Evaluation • Making learning exciting (games, songs, stories) • Personal development • Professional development We highly recommend the course for newly qualified English teachers who are interested, motivated and committed. The training course will be covered in 4 six hours sessions starting from January 2009 till April 2009 in Skopje, Stip, Bitola and Ohrid. Exact dates and venues will be confirmed additionally. NB. Training is not restricted to NQTs living in the above mentioned centres only. Applicants from other towns are free to select the closest training centre. Send us your CV and application form to marjantr@yahoo.com to arrive by 10th January 2009. CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION 1. The applicants should have no more than 5 years of teaching experience. 2. The applicants must be members of ELTAM. 3. The training course will have a minimum of 10 candidates per city. 4. Potential candidates should send their application by 10th January 2009 to marjantr@yahoo.com. Late entries will not be accepted. 5. The fee of 3500,00 denars must be paid prior to the commencement of the course. COURSE FEE includes: a. 4 six-hour sessions b. refreshments and light lunch c. materials and hand outs d. certificate 6. Please note that an application for the course does not guarantee you a place. 7. Only selected candidates will receive Confirmation of entry to the course ( by January 15, 2009) 8. Selected candidates will be required to prove their teaching qualification and employment status. 9. Details as to the time and the venue will be provided at least one week prior to the course. 10. Certificates of attendance will be issued only to candidates who have attended all training sessions. |
